The drawings by Maria Finn show characters where the surrounding landscape has become an internal landscape. The face is carefully drawn and the rest of the paper remains white. On the face is the surroundings depicted, hiding the character. The face becomes eclipsed by the landscape indicating the importance of how our environment influences and shapes us.
